Platform API

While the Passenger API and Driver API are consumed by clients running on mobile devices, the Platform API is the interface for full integration with foreign backends. It aims at feature parity with the standard product, and there is almost no feature that can not be steered through these endpoints. It’s possible to create, modify or delete all kinds of resources, for instance create new stations, reconfigure your vehicle fleet, setup vehicle plannings and synchronize the user base. ioki Platform is designed to integrate with all kinds of data flows and use cases, it’s possible to operate multiple products with multiple clients and even share user bases across different integration partners. For specific use cases, the Platform API even allows issuing access tokens to the Driver API and Passenger API, in case the integrating backend needs to act on behalf of particular Users or drivers.

APIs and webhooks are documented using the OpenAPI Specification v3.0.2 in the API Docs of ioki Platform. The API Docs serve as a resource for integration partners.

Some verification-related Platform API workflows can include a captcha step when ioki Platform requires additional anti-abuse protection.
