Permissions

A permission is part of the role-based access control (RBAC) model used to control administrators’ access to Control Center. A permission can be assigned to one or more roles, and one or more roles can be assigned to one or more administrators.

In the Kompendium, associated permissions to resources or actions are mentioned in callout boxes.

In ioki Platform, there are predefined roles at global, provider, and product level. Their associated permissions cannot be changed.

Additional custom roles can be created only if the corresponding feature is active:

• for providers through the provider feature role-based access control
• for products through the product feature of the same name
