Public transport connections

The product feature public transport connections enables the display of connections at stations within ioki Passenger App. It visualizes available public transport options at a station, such as buses and regional trains, and shows a departure board at the drop-off station for rides.

This is achieved by manually connecting a station with a station from a public transport adapter.

Using HAFAS as an example, the means of public transport that serve this HAFAS station are then assigned to ioki Platform station along with the HAFAS Station ID.

Activate this feature

Roles: Super Admin

  1. Navigate to the management settings of the product.
  2. Within the Product features section, select the checkbox Public transport connections.
  3. Select Save.

Configure this feature

This feature can be configured within the section Public transport in the tenant settings of a product and on the stations by selecting Connect public transport changeover in the dropdown menu.
