Driver push notifications

The product feature driver push notifications allows administrators (operators) to send push notifications to one or more drivers.

Driver push notifications are visible globally to all operators. This ensures that other operators who take over can easily view the notification history and stay informed of previous actions.

When an operator creates a driver push notification, ioki Platform stores the message, processes it in the background, and creates one driver notification per selected unarchived driver. After processing, the original receiver list is cleared from the queued message.

Activate this feature

Roles: Super Admin

1. Navigate to the management settings of the product.
2. Within the Product features section, select the checkbox Driver push notifications.
3. Select Save.

Message format in ioki Vehicle App

After an operator sends a message in Control Center, the driver receives a message shown as a banner in ioki Vehicle App. It appears above any other views currently open, ensuring their visibility.
