Text field to driver

The product feature text field to driver enables passengers or operators to send a free-text message to the driver during ride creation.

If activated, passengers or operators can submit a single message per ride. After the ride is successfully booked, the note is stored on the ride and shown to the driver in ioki Vehicle App. Passengers can also see the note in the ride details.

Each message is limited to a maximum of 500 characters.

Use cases of this feature

Use this feature when passengers should be able to share specific information or requests with the driver before the ride begins.

Activate this feature

Roles: Super Admin

1. Navigate to the management settings of the product.
2. Within the Product features section, select the checkbox Text field to driver.
3. Select Save.
