Pause reminders for drivers

The product feature pause reminders for drivers reminds drivers in ioki Vehicle App when a pause is about to start or end.

ioki Platform checks accepted start of pause and end of pause tasks for products that support pause reminders. When the relevant pause boundary is within the next 2 minutes, ioki Platform creates a reminder notification for the connected driver and updates the driver’s journey and task list in ioki Vehicle App.

Scope and limitations

• The feature applies only to accepted pause tasks.
• A reminder is sent only once for the same task and reminder type.
• A driver must be assigned to the vehicle planning so the reminder can be delivered.
• If a pause has a location, ioki Vehicle App routes the driver to that location as part of the task flow.

Activate this feature

Roles: Super Admin

1. Navigate to the management settings of the product.
2. Within the Product features section, select the checkbox Pause reminders for drivers.
3. Select Save.
