Webhooks

With the help of webhooks, other systems can follow important changes in the data of products, e.g., the product area and when rides, users, vehicles, drivers, task lists are created, deleted, or updated.

In contrast to other APIs this is an active way and is communicated outwards, i.e., it’s posted to a corresponding URL when otherwise the API has to be called by the external system.

As soon as a webhook is configured, specified events within ioki Platform trigger the creation of a Webhook event. These events carry information on the corresponding product, the provider, and the URL as well as the metadata on the event which should be posted to the URL.

All webhook events are documented in the API Docs.
