Data Bridge

ioki Data Bridge is a web app for bulk import and export of a product’s or provider’s operational data as CSV files—drivers, stations, vehicles, vehicle plannings, lines, and more.

Data Bridge is used by Provider Admins and Product Admins. A product-scoped import or export needs access to the product plus the relevant permission (for example, create_stations to import stations); a provider-scoped one needs access to the provider.

Reach Data Bridge from Control Center

Most imports start in Control Center: on an entity’s list page—for example Stations—select Import to open Data Bridge with the product preselected. You can also open Data Bridge directly (see the links below) and choose the product or provider yourself.

How an import works

1. Choose the import type and download its CSV template.
2. Fill in the template and upload it.
3. Data Bridge parses the file and lists the parsed rows—review and correct any errors.
4. It transforms the rows into ioki records—review the result.
5. Confirm the import. Records are created in the selected product or provider, and you can retry any rows that failed.

How an export works

1. Choose what to export—for example, drivers or stations.
2. Choose the Export type: a full record (All attributes, including ioki Platform IDs), or an importable file that a matching import can read back in (File format usable for a later import).
3. Choose the product or provider.
4. Download the generated CSV.
