Booking

ioki Booking is a web-based tool where staff book and manage rides on behalf of passengers, typically over the phone. An agent takes the caller’s request, finds or creates the passenger, and books the ride for them. It replaces the legacy booking wizard.

ioki Booking is a separate channel from ioki Web Booking, where passengers book their own rides in a browser. In ioki Booking an agent does the booking on the passenger’s behalf; the two are not the same product.

Get started

An agent signs in with their ioki Platform account, then chooses the provider and the service area to book for. Access to a product depends on the Phone Booking Agent role. See Get started.

Book a ride

The agent looks up or creates the passenger, sets the pickup and dropoff, chooses an ad hoc or pre-booked trip, reviews the offered solutions, and books the ride—including return trips, reverse trips, and recurring ride series. See Book a ride.

Manage rides

After booking, the agent can review a ride, change or cancel it, adjust who is travelling, and reuse saved booking templates. See Manage rides.
