Providers

A provider is a company that offers one or more services. Each service a provider offers is modeled as a product. A provider can have several products, and every product belongs to exactly one provider.

A provider holds the configuration that applies across all of its products, such as payment setup, credentials for external services, and provider-level grouping tools.

Grouping tools

Providers offer two ways to group the users that belong to them:

• User segments define registration and communication defaults for a group of users.
• Eligibility groups define whether users qualify for group-based workflows.
