Non-purchasable personal discounts

Non-purchasable personal discounts is a provider feature that allows administrators (operators) to assign discounts to users.

In order to use non-purchasable personal discounts, you not only have to activate the provider feature but also the product feature personal discounts.

Use cases of this feature

When used in combination with apply for non-purchasable personal discounts, users can apply to receive non-purchasable personal discounts via email in the Account menu of ioki Passenger App.

In ioki Passenger App, when a user clicks on menu > Account and then selects + next to Personal Discounts, the app could show the following text:

Apply for a discount: We grant pupils, seniors, students, and disabled people a discounted ride fare. The discount is valid for one person of every booking. Please send in photos of the front and back of your official school, senior, student or disable persons ID via email.

Selecting Apply would then create a draft email to mail the operators the necessary information.

Activate this feature

Roles: Super Admin

1. Navigate to the management settings of the provider.
2. Within the Provider features section, select the checkbox Non-purchasable personal discounts.
3. Select Save.
