Quick booking

The product feature quick booking allows users to book a specific ride for a future date while preserving the locations for start and destination and all passenger and ride options.

The options for the new date are:

  • one day later than the just booked Ride, at the same time, or
  • one week later than the just booked Ride, at the same time.

Additionally, there is the possibility to enter a custom date and time.

The feature activates these options for ioki Passenger App as well as for Control Center if Operator Booking and prebooking is activated. In the app, passengers use them as rebooking shortcuts; see Manage your rides.

In the second case, when a ride has been booked via Control Center, the feature can be used by clicking on Book the same ride or Book return ride on the confirmation page of the Operator Booking.

Then a modal opens showing the previously mentioned options.

After choosing one of these options, the operator booking page is reloaded prefilled with the chosen settings such that an administrator only has to click on Find Ride again.

Note, that this feature only activates the modal with the prebooking choices. The options Book the same ride and Book return ride are always available.

Activate this feature

Roles: Super Admin

  1. Navigate to the management settings of the product.
  2. Within the Product features section, select the checkbox Quick booking.
  3. Select Save.
