MENTZ’s elektronische Fahrplanauskunft (EFA) is a digital timetable information system developed by MENTZ GmbH, a company based in Germany. EFA provides comprehensive information about public transport schedules, routes, and connections. It’s designed to assist travelers in planning their journeys efficiently by providing accurate and up-to-date information. Especially in southern Germany, various transport associations and public transit providers use MENTZ’s elektronische Fahrplanauskunft (EFA) instead of the competing product HAFAS.

Connection to ioki Platform

ioki Platform connects to the MENTZ trip API if the product feature public transport alternatives is activated and MENTZ Trip is selected as the Adapter for Public Transport Alternatives.

The MENTZ API is used if the Public transport location by name adapter or the Public transport departure board adapter is set to MENTZ.
