Sending one-time codes for drivers via SMS

The product feature sending one-time codes for drivers via SMS lets an operator send a generated one-time code to a driver by SMS instead of sharing it by other means.

It is a companion to one-time codes for driver login and only takes effect when both features are active. Sending by SMS also requires a phone number on the driver or on the connected vehicle; without one, the code cannot be sent and must be shared another way.

The driver then signs in to ioki Vehicle App with the delivered code—see Get started for the sign-in steps.

Activate this feature

Roles: Super Admin

1. Navigate to the management settings of the product.
2. Within the Product features section, select the checkbox Sending one-time codes for drivers via SMS. This also requires One-time codes for driver login to be active.
3. Select Save.
