Driver push notifications

For what this feature does, see Driver push notifications in Platform. This item appears in the Control Center product sidebar only when the driver push notifications product feature is active.

View driver push notifications

Permissions: send_push_notifications_to_drivers

From the product overview in Control Center, select Driver push notifications in the left sidebar. In this view, sent notifications are listed in a table containing the following information.

ID	Driver push notification identifier
Message body	Message text
Driver	Recipient driver name
Sender	Sending administrator name
Delivered at	Delivery date
Created at	Creation timestamp

In older versions of Control Center, automatically sent messages (such as booking requests) were also recorded in this view.

If the notification is sent automatically by the system, the field “sender” remains empty.

In the details of the notification, the identification numbers of the message, the driver, and the sender are stored.

Filter driver push notifications

You can filter driver push notifications by Driver to display all messages sent to a specific driver.

Create a push notification to driver

Permissions: send_push_notifications_to_drivers

To create a push notification to a driver, select Create new and fill in the required information.

Select a driver from the dropdown menu, write a message, and select Save.

Message format in ioki Vehicle App

After an operator sends a message in Control Center, the driver receives a message shown as a banner in ioki Vehicle App. It appears above any other views currently open, ensuring their visibility.
