Terms of service

In the Terms of service section of the tenant settings of a provider, you can enter the following information.

• ToS URL
• Privacy policy URL
• Date of current ToS. This field specifies the release date of the current version of the provider’s terms of service (ToS). It serves as a reference point for determining whether users have accepted the latest terms. Each user has a corresponding ToS accepted at timestamp, which records when they last accepted the terms. For a user to continue using the service, their ToS accepted at must be later than this date. If the field Date of current ToS is updated, for example because of legal changes or policy updates, users are prompted to accept the new terms of service the next time they open ioki Passenger App.

All products associated with a provider inherit these settings by default. You can override settings documented here for a specific product in the Product branding settings.

You can also override the above settings for specific client applications. For example, if a provider is attached to two client apps, one for Android and one for iOS, you can specify distinct ToS and privacy policy URLs for each client.
