Matching configurations

A matching configuration contains fundamental settings and parameters for the matching algorithm of a product and is also used to define the product area. A product must have at least one matching configuration, but it can have several—for example, different configurations for daytime, night-time, or weekend operations, selected when defining a vehicle planning.

For what a matching configuration is and what each setting, parameter, and solver weight does—including defaults, ranges, and examples—see Matching configurations in Platform. This page covers how to manage them in Control Center.

Only a Super Admin can create a new matching configuration—the Create new button is shown only to Super Admins. Select Create new, complete the sections below, and select Save.

  • Stemdata. The Name, a unique Slug (lowercase letters, numbers, underscores, and hyphens only), and an optional Description.
  • Geographic properties. The DRT sub area this matching configuration applies to.
  • Matching. The matching mode and the prevent-combination options.
  • Matching parameters. Search space and performance, boundary conditions, and quality of service and pooling.
  • Solver weights. The classical and advanced solver weights.
  • Routing setup. Optional routing setup overrides.
  • Lead time settings. Available when the lead time product feature is active.

For what each setting, parameter, and solver weight does—including defaults and ranges—see Matching configurations in Platform.
