Hardware integrations

For what this feature does, see Hardware integrations in Platform. This item appears in the Control Center provider sidebar only when the hardware integrations provider feature is active.

View hardware integrations

Permissions: read_hardware_integrations

From the provider view in Control Center, select ⚙️ > Hardware Integrations in the dropdown menu or in the left sidebar.

View events and commands for an asset

Permissions: read_hardware_integrations

To see the recent activity of an asset, select its Throughput last hour value in the list. The view lists the events and commands exchanged with the asset in the last hour, each with its timestamp, type, and payload.

Create a hardware integration

Permissions: create_hardware_integrations

To create a hardware integration, select Create new and enter the following information.

  • Type. Select Navya Integration, Easymile Integration, Mobileye Integration, WeRide Integration, or IAV Integration from the dropdown.

Select Next.

Depending on the selected integration type, enter the following information.

  • Name. A human-readable identifier for the integration.
  • Description. Optional notes to clarify the purpose or scope of the integration.
  • Site ID. The Navya site identifier associated with the vehicle.
  • Username. The Navya-provided username for authentication.
  • Password. The Navya-provided password for authentication.
  • Base URL. The Navya API base URL.
  • Vendors Asset ID. Unique asset ID as assigned by Navya.

Easymile Integration

  • Name. A human-readable identifier for the integration.
  • Description. Optional notes to clarify the purpose or scope of the integration.
  • Client ID. A string that identifies the client when talking to Easymile.
  • Client Secret. A string used like a password to securely connect to Easymile.
  • Audience URL. The URL Easymile expects to receive requests from.
  • Vendors Asset ID. The unique identifier of the vehicle or asset in Easymile’s system.

Mobileye Integration

  • Name. A human-readable identifier for the integration.
  • Description. Optional notes to clarify the purpose or scope of the integration.
  • https certificate. Upload the certificate required to authenticate with Mobileye.
  • Base URL. The base URL to reach the Mobileye data API.
  • Vendors Asset ID. Identifier for the vehicle or device in Mobileye’s platform.

WeRide Integration

  • Name. A human-readable identifier for the integration.
  • Description. Optional notes to clarify the purpose or scope of the integration.
  • Base URL. The WeRide API base URL.
  • Channel. The WeRide channel used for the integration.
  • Secret authentication token. The token used to securely connect to WeRide.
  • Vendors Asset ID. The unique identifier of the vehicle or asset in WeRide’s system.

IAV Integration

  • Name. A human-readable identifier for the integration.
  • Description. Optional notes to clarify the purpose or scope of the integration.
  • Client ID. A string that identifies the client when talking to IAV.
  • Client Secret. A string used like a password to securely connect to IAV.
  • Project. The IAV project associated with the integration.
  • Vendors Asset ID. The unique identifier of the vehicle or asset in IAV’s system.

Then select Save.

Open the detailed view of a hardware integration

Permissions: read_hardware_integrations

To open the detailed view of a hardware integration, select ⚙️ > Show in the dropdown menu.

Edit a hardware integration

Permissions: update_hardware_integrations

To edit a hardware integration, select ⚙️ > Edit in the dropdown menu. Make the desired changes and then select Save.

Connect a hardware integration to a vehicle

Permissions: update_hardware_integrations

To connect a hardware integration to a vehicle, select ⚙️ > Connect to vehicle in the dropdown. Select the desired vehicle and then select Save.

Detach a hardware integration from a vehicle

Permissions: update_hardware_integrations

Detaching is only allowed when no active task list is present and the state permits it.

To detach a hardware integration from a vehicle, select ⚙️ > Detach vehicle in the dropdown.

Activate a hardware integration

Permissions: update_hardware_integrations

To activate a hardware integration, select ⚙️ > Activate in the dropdown.

Deactivate a hardware integration

Permissions: update_hardware_integrations

To deactivate a hardware integration, select ⚙️ > Deactivate in the dropdown.

Delete a hardware integration

Permissions: delete_hardware_integrations

Deleting is only allowed when the asset is not connected to a vehicle.

To delete a hardware integration, select ⚙️ > Delete in the dropdown.
