Driver password

Permissions: update_drivers

A drivers password is part of the login for ioki Vehicle App, together with the driver username.

In ioki Platform, a driver password is always exactly six digits:

• a six-digit password is generated when the driver is created
• Generate new password creates a new six-digit password
• Set password manually also accepts only a six-digit password

After a driver is created or after a password is regenerated, Control Center renders the username and generated password at the top of the driver page for that response.

Use ⚙️ > Generate new password from the Drivers list or from the driver’s detailed view to replace the existing password.

If the product feature driver password management is enabled, the same menu also offers Set password manually.

When you set a password manually, Control Center applies the value you entered instead of generating a new random code.
