ioki Reporting

New ioki Reporting

We are now providing a significant extension to the ioki Platform: the new ioki Reporting! This in-house development offers all the benefits of the ioki applications and complete independence from third-party providers:

  • Seamless access: ioki Single Sign-On with two-factor authentication
  • Maximum data security: Your data is always protected.

The existing Tableau-based reporting will be gradually replaced, expected to be fully completed by by mid-2025. This will provide an improved, user-focused reporting solution:

  • Reliable & Up-to-Date: High data quality, availability, and current data
  • Intuitive & Clear: A user-friendly interface with well-structured reports
  • Expanded Data Access & Export: Direct access and download of the underlying data for your individual analyses

Until the final transition, the new ioki Reporting will run parallel to the Tableau-based reporting. Areas already replaced in Tableau will remain visible until mid-2025, but will be considered outdated. All future updates and enhancements will be implemented exclusively in the new application.

Shift log

The first report, the Shift Log, is now available for provider administrators. As a successor to the previous Distance Report the new report includes many highly requested improvements:

  • Inclusion of both actual and planned distances for billing purposes
  • Data per segment of a vehicle shift
  • Assignment of segments to vehicles, operators, and drivers

It may take a few more days until the data for the first months of 2024 is available.

Identify trips booked by telephone

Phone bookings in shift details

  • If a dispatcher has to cancel a ride, it is crucial to know which were booked by phone.
  • This way, the passengers can be contacted directly.

New ride details

PT Alternatives

GPS Trace

  • Vehicle location data is available for two weeks after the end of the ride.
  • Booking alternatives (e.g., public transport options) that were offered to the passenger, as well as pooling stops, are now displayed.
  • These can be viewed in the trip details.

Add points of interest

  • You can now add points of interest and special destinations, such as car-sharing locations, to improve passenger orientation.

  • These destinations will appear in the ioki Passenger App and can be selected as start and end points of their rides.

  • You can find this feature under Locations > Points of interest.

Stop categories

  • Stop categories can be used for a variety of purposes, such as defining pricing logic, setting dispatch rules, and improving your overview.

  • You can now easily manage these categories in the ioki Operator.

Catchment area of stops

Catchment area

  • To optimize dispatching, it is sometimes necessary to link ride requests within an area (catchment area) with a specific stop. For example:
    • when a festival has only one exit.
    • when rides near the train station should all be routed to the train station.
  • These settings can be configured in the ioki Operator using the catchment area feature.
  • How does it work? In the stop details, edit the catchment area tab and upload a GeoJSON file in the required format.

Tips for free rides

Tip

  • In times of driver shortages, the tips feature offers a valuable way to show appreciation for drivers.
  • However, rides like those using the Deutschland-Ticket are often free, meaning many passengers have not added payment information.
  • Now, tipping in the ioki Passenger App is also possible for free rides.
  • If you are interested in the tips feature, please contact your Account Manager.

ioki Vehicle App

Release 2.25.0

* The Version 2.25.0 of the ioki Vehicle App will be released for all customers in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store during the month of October. * Depending on the device settings, you will be automatically notified of the update. * Alternatively, the latest version can also be downloaded from these links:

* Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ioki.driver.android * iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ioki-vehicle-app/id1550081112

Improvements

  • When a ride is canceled, feedback is now provided through a snackbar message (banner). This removes the need for the additional notification window, simplifying message management.

  • In the past, a stationary vehicle could be incorrectly identified as having deviated from the route. The ioki Vehicle App has been updated to accurately detect this situation and prevent unnecessary route recalculations.

Compliance with Italian and Spanish taxi regulation

taxi law

  • Drivers in Italy and Spain are required to present an overview of their completed trips during inspections.
  • This information is now accessible in the ioki Vehicle App.
  • This also opens up the ioki platform to privately operated transportation services (e.g. taxi companies)
  • Contact your Account Manager to enable this feature, as it requires separate activation due to data privacy regulations.
