Pay for a ride

What you pay, and how, depends on your provider. Some rides are free, some are paid, and the available payment methods vary from provider to provider.

See the fare

When you review an offer, the site shows the fare for the ride. Confirm the booking once you are happy with the price and the details.

Choose a payment method

Where the provider takes payment, you choose a payment method when you book. Depending on the provider, choosing a payment method can be optional or required even when a ride starts at no cost, because extra charges can arise later.

Use credits and promo codes

Depending on the provider, you can also:

• top up and spend service credits, a prepaid balance held in your wallet, and
• redeem a promo code for a personal discount.

Leave a tip

Where the provider offers tipping, you can add a tip after a ride. Tipping is always optional.
