Drivers

Permissions: read_drivers

Use Drivers to manage the drivers who can use ioki Vehicle App for the selected product.

For the platform concept, see drivers.

View drivers

1. In the sidebar, select Setup, then under Operations select Drivers.
2. Select a driver to review or edit the driver details.

Add a driver

Permissions: create_drivers

1. In Drivers, select Add Driver.
2. Enter the driver details.
3. Select Save.

Edit a driver

Permissions: update_drivers

1. In Drivers, open the driver you want to change.
2. Update the driver details.
3. Select Save.

Lock or unlock a driver

Permissions: lock_drivers

1. In Drivers, open the driver, or open the driver’s options menu in the list.
2. Select Lock Driver to restrict the driver’s access, or Unlock Driver to restore it.

Manage the driver password

Permissions: update_drivers

1. In Drivers, open the driver.
2. Select Regenerate to generate a new password, or Set password to enter a custom one.

Setting a custom password is available only when the product allows administrators to set an arbitrary driver password. For password behavior, see driver password management.

Delete a driver

Permissions: delete_drivers

Deleting a driver can’t be undone.

1. In Drivers, open the driver you want to remove.
2. Select Delete.
3. Confirm the deletion.

Import and export drivers

Bulk imports and exports are handled through ioki Data Bridge. For the CSV workflows, see import drivers and export drivers.
