Use Live operations to monitor the current service. The page combines the live map, active shifts, vehicle state, ride inquiry area, and current journey information.

Monitor active shifts

  1. In the sidebar, select Live operations.
  2. In the Active vehicles list, select a shift to focus the map on its vehicle and open the shift details.

The Active vehicles list groups shifts so you can spot the ones that need attention first. Shifts that need review appear under Warnings. Shifts that are currently deactivated appear under Deactivations and are marked on their card. A shift shows here while the current time falls inside one of its deactivation windows, so you can see at a glance which vehicles are temporarily out of service.

Monitor vehicles on the map

The map shows vehicles for active shifts. Vehicle state is calculated from the active shift, pause status, assigned vehicle, and product validation state.

When you focus a vehicle, ioki Operator keeps the map focused on that vehicle and refreshes it more frequently than the full fleet view.

Inspect the current journey

When a focused vehicle has a current journey, ioki Operator loads and displays the journey route. If the route cannot be displayed, the app returns to the broader monitoring view and shows an error message.

Open shift details

  1. In Live operations, select a shift.
  2. Review the shift and its tasks in the same detail view used by Planning, without leaving the live operations context.

Product validations

ioki Operator surfaces product validations—checks that flag potential configuration or operational problems with the product, such as missing or inconsistent settings. The vehicle state shown on the map also reflects the product validation state.
