Rides

Use Rides to search, filter, review, and open rides for the selected product. In ioki Operator, rides are read-only apart from canceling an active ride. Booking a ride for a passenger is not done in ioki Operator—it opens a separate ride booking workflow.
For ride lifecycle concepts, see rides.
View rides
- In the sidebar, select Rides.
- Use the filters to narrow the list by Booking code, ride ID, user, ride state, and cancellation reason, and choose whether the time filter applies to the requested time or the pickup time.
- Select a ride to open its details.
The available filters depend on the fields exposed for the selected product.
Review ride details
- In Rides, open the ride you want to review.
- Review the ride’s details, organized into tabs:
- Overview. Passengers, route, timing, and the ride’s pickup and drop-off tasks.
- Payment. Payment-related information for the ride, where available.
- Communication. The history of messages and notifications sent for the ride.
- Rating. The passenger’s rating, if one was given.
- Inspect. A technical summary of the ride’s attributes.
Managing the individual tasks shown in the overview requires the manage_tasks permission.
Book a ride for a passenger
Booking a ride on a passenger’s behalf is not done inside ioki Operator. ioki Operator opens a separate ride booking workflow for the selected product. See Book a ride for a passenger.
For the feature, see operator booking.
Copy a ride or book a return
From an existing ride, you can open the ride booking workflow with its details prefilled. Both actions open the workflow in a new tab; the new ride is created there, not in ioki Operator.
- In Rides, open the ride.
- On the Overview tab, select Copy ride to prefill a similar ride, or Book return to prefill a return trip.
Cancel a ride
Permissions:
cancel_rides
Canceling a ride can’t be undone. Canceling a ride the driver has already accepted or picked up can incur a cancellation fee, unless the applicable fare makes it free.
You can cancel a ride only while it is still active—not already completed or canceled.
- In Rides, open the ride you want to cancel.
- On the Overview tab, select Cancel ride.
- Choose a cancellation reason.
- Confirm the cancellation.
If the reason is that the passenger did not show up, a service violation of type “no-show” is recorded.
For general cancellation behavior, see ride cancellation.
