Get started

ioki Operator starts with product selection. After you select a product, the navigation and all listed data are scoped to that product.

Select a product

  1. Open ioki Operator. The Select your product overview lists the products available to your administrator account, grouped by provider. Ended products are not listed.
  2. Select the product you want to work with. Each row shows the product name and a chevron. Selecting a row opens the product.

If you have access to only one product, ioki Operator skips the overview and opens that product directly.

When you have more than 25 products, a search box appears above the list. Enter part of a product name to filter the list. The search matches from the start of the name or the start of any word in the name, and it ignores letter case. If nothing matches, the list shows No Search Results.

If you do not see a product, check whether your account has access to it.

Understand the navigation

The sidebar is a flat list of four items: Live operations, Planning, Rides, and Setup. The first three open a page directly; Setup opens a page that groups the product setup and configuration pages into categories. For the full visual layout, see the Operator UI reference.

Sidebar items—the workflows you use while a product is running:

  • Live operations. The live map, active vehicles, vehicle focus, and journey display.
  • Planning. Shifts, tasks, breaks, and planning actions.
  • Rides. The ride list, ride details, and ride cancellation.

Setup—the setup and configuration pages, grouped into categories:

The Setup page also links to My features.

To reach Control Center and the other ioki apps, use the app suite button in the top-right corner. See Handoffs.

Understand page visibility

Pages are visible only when the required permission and product feature are available. For example, Service violations appears only when blocking user rides after service violations is active and your account can view service violation blocks, while Driver Push-Notifications appears only when the driver push notifications feature is active and your account can send messages to drivers.

If a page is missing from the navigation, the product might not support the feature or your administrator account might not have the required permission.

Use product-scoped workflows

Most workflows in ioki Operator affect only the selected product. When you switch products, ioki Operator loads the matching rides, shifts, drivers, vehicles, setup data, and configuration for that product.
