SMS support
Twilio Messaging Service SID
If required, you can select a Twilio Messaging Service SID. This dropdown is automatically updated from the messaging services specified at Twilio.
Number of SMS support
If a Twilio Messaging Service SID is selected in the previous field, this is already prefilled with the correct phone number.
Trusted country codes
Trusted country codes define which destination country codes are exempt from the provider-level rate limit for phone number verification SMS.
For phone numbers that do not start with a trusted country code, the platform applies a shared limit of 20 successfully sent verification SMS within 30 minutes per provider. When that limit is reached, additional verification SMS to non-trusted country codes are blocked until older messages fall out of the 30-minute window.
Phone numbers with a trusted country code do not count towards this limit. This is why the list should include the countries where your service is expected to verify users regularly.
An empty list is treated as a provider misconfiguration and appears as a product validation warning. To rectify this, include at least:
- the country code of the main service area
- the country codes of neighbouring countries or other countries your users commonly register from
You can enter country codes in formats such as 0049, +49, or 49. The platform normalises the value automatically, removes duplicates, and stores only the numeric country code.
For platform-wide SMS blocks that apply before this provider setting is evaluated, see blacklisted country codes.
Caller ID for driver to passenger and passenger to driver calls
Caller ID for connecting calls
You can specify a custom caller ID for driver-to-passenger and passenger-to-driver calls, provided a dedicated phone number has been purchased for the respective provider.
This is especially useful for services operating outside of Germany, where receiving a call from a German number might confuse users. Setting a local or recognizable caller ID improves user trust and call acceptance rates.
