Switch environments

ioki Vehicle App includes a hidden environment switch on the sign-in screen. It lets you move the app between environments without installing a separate app.

To switch environments, press the ioki logo five times. If you stop pressing for more than two seconds, the app resets the counter and you need to start again.

The app cycles through environments in this order:

1. production -> demo
2. demo -> staging
3. staging -> production

After the environment changes, the app shows a short confirmation message for two seconds.

Outside production, the app also shows the active environment next to the version number:

• Version 1.1.1 in production
• Version 1.1.1 (demo) in demo
• Version 1.1.1 (staging) in staging

In staging, the app also shows the build number on a separate line under the version.

For non-production environments, the app shows a colored indicator line at the top of the app:

• demo uses green
• staging uses the app’s primary color
