End a shift

Shift completion in ioki Vehicle App is handled through the task flow and, if supported, through Ride information in settings.

Shift-related waypoints are handled as meta tasks in the destinations flow.

Depending on the connected vehicle configuration, completing a shift task can require the driver to enter an odometer value before the task is confirmed.

The end-of-shift task becomes available only once all other tasks in the shift have been completed.

Open ride information

If the product supports it, the settings screen shows a Ride information entry in its support section.

The app fetches the content again each time the driver opens it so that the displayed data stays current.

What ride information shows

Ride information can include:

  • provider and operator information
  • the operator’s VAT number, if available
  • vehicle registration
  • driver name
  • shift start and end time
  • shift start and end place
  • the list of rides completed during the shift, including pickup and drop-off times, locations, distance, and passenger information

If the content cannot be loaded, the app shows an error state instead of the ride information.

Review the shift summary

After the shift ends, the app can show a shift summary. It contains general information—the driver’s name, the vehicle registration, and the shift start and end times—followed by the rides completed during the shift, with passenger names, pickup and drop-off times and locations, and distance, and a summary of the payment methods used.
